The vLA1 is a pin-for-pin functional replacement for the Sinclair ZX Interface 1 ULA using a modern programmable logic array. The vLA1 provides full support for the Microdrive, RS-232 and Sinclair Network as in the original ULA.
The vLA82S+ is a modern plugin replacement for the Spectrum 48K ULA (type 6C001E-7 or earlier). The vLA82S+ combines the original vLA82 capability with the addition of an RGB video interface and AY compatible sound. Offer includes: 1 x vLA82S+ along with both internal and external RGB video interfaces.

vLA1: Sinclair Interface 1 ULA replacement
The vLA1 is a Sinclair Interface One ULA pin for pin direct replacement, using a modern programmable logic array.
The vLA1 provides full support for the Microdrive, RS-232 and Sinclair Network as in the original ULA.
These are new ULA replacements created and manufactured by Charlie Ingley. He sells these direct. Due to being located in New Zealand, postage and import costs to the EU/UK mean costs increase substantially. It is with pleasure to have worked with Charlie. In order to be able to resell these at a reduced total cost for you.

NOTE: Due to a lack of room within the Interface 1 case, the original ULA will need to be desoldered/removed and the vLA1 installed in its place.
